Vaser Liposculpture in Houston
If you’ve struggled with weight gain, and exercise and diet just have not given you the dramatic results you would like, Vaserlipo™ can help.
What is Vaser?
Vaser® liposculpture is a third generation ultrasound assisted lipoplasty device designed to improve safety, efficiency while minimizing blood loss and providing safe extraction of large volumes of fat. The Vaser lipoplasty system is designed to provide precision body contouring in areas all around the body.
Vaser is a minimally invasive procedure that uses state-of-the-art technology. The technology behind the Vaser system is capable of directly targeting the selected tissue without causing damage to any surrounding tissue. The Vaser system is incredibly powerful and capable of treating sensitive and delicate areas of the body like the neck. Because of its incredible precision, the Vaser system also allows for faster patient recovery.
Vaser® liposculpture allows the surgeon the ability to treat the superficial tissues as well as allowing high definition body sculpting. High definition body sculpting surgical technique allows removal of unwanted deposits of fat from specific areas of the body, including abdomen, waist, buttocks, thighs and arms. This results in toned arms and flat abdomens resulting in an overall athletic appearance.
Ideal candidates are patients with normal weight who wish to reduce bulges and fat deposits that are resistant to diet and/or exercise. It’s important to remember that Vaser is not a weight-loss option and should not be used as such. Instead, it is used to target specific regions of the body for fat reduction.
How Vaser Works
The Vaser liposculpture treatment is the next step in liposuction technology. Traditional liposuction procedures are performed by using a cannula to loosen the excess fat in the area. While this method is effective, it does cause damage to the surrounding tissue because of the motions required to loosen the fat in the area.
Vaser eliminates the need for aggressive motions to loosen the fat in the targeted area. Instead, Vaser uses ultrasound energy to gently loosen the fat cells. The fat cells can then be easily removed through the cannula without causing unnecessary damage.

After the Vaser Liposculpture Procedure
After the Vaser liposculpture procedure has been performed, a special elastic compression garment must be worn on the targeted area or areas. This garment helps the skin to contract after treatment so that it better fits the new contours of the body. This produces significantly better aesthetic results. The garment also helps to control any post-surgical swelling and bruising in the area.
While there is no lengthy recovery period required after Vaser, it is recommended that you rest for a short period after your treatment. Getting at least 48 hours of rest is recommended. After this rest period, you can return to your normal activities, including your job.
You should try to avoid strenuous activities while you recover in order to ensure the quality of your results and prevent any post-surgical complications. Activities such as sports and heavy exercise should be avoided.
The results of Vaser liposculpture can be seen immediately in the form of a more sculpted and fit body. The results provided by Vaser will continue to improve as the body heals. It can take around three to four months to see the full results of your Vaser treatment.

VASER Liposculpture FAQ
The VASER liposculpture technique’s ultrasound technology breaks down fat cells without causing damage to the surrounding tissues. These broken-down fat cells are then removed with the help of medical suction.
It is a suitable procedure for men and women who are in good health and have a high degree of skin elasticity. For the method to be successful, the candidate must be at or near their desired weight, since weight changes can negatively affect results.
Anyone who has been unable to maintain a healthy weight for at least six months is not suitable for the procedure.
When compared to surgical liposculpture, the side effects of VASER liposculpture are minimal. The treatment may cause a minor degree of temporary bruising and swelling.
The recovery time for this procedure varies from person to person depending on the individual’s health and the amount of fat removed.
VASER liposculpture is used to treat areas such as the back, thighs, rear end, hips, arms, chin, abdomen, and knees.
The healthcare provider will determine the number of sessions a patient will need based on the amount of fat, the area of treatment, and the patient’s aesthetic goals.
It is essential to understand that VASER liposculpture treatment is not a weight-loss therapy. Once the fat is removed, you are expected to follow a healthy lifestyle in order to avoid weight gain.
